Stephanie De Munter - PhD, Clinical Research Professional
Stephanie De Munter brings along a diverse background. She holds a professional bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (UCLL, Belgium) after which she obtained a master’s degree and a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences (focus Neurosciences), respectively at the transnational University Limburg (Hasselt University, Belgium & Maastricht University, The Netherlands) and Leuven University, Belgium.
Stephanie started her career in 2016 as a R&D scientist and manufacturing manager in a biotechnology company. She gained experience in clinical research since early 2018, when she assisted with the preparations of a first-in-human clinical trial.
Bitten by the ‘clinical trial bug’, Stephanie joined the Archer Research team in March 2019 as a Clinical Research Professional. She is currently responsible for A – Z project and investigational site management of (inter)national clinical trials with medical devices in various therapeutic areas like vascular, neuro-vascular, abdominal and bariatric surgery. Together with Archer Research’ Quality Manager and colleague research professionals, she is also actively involved in optimizing the clinical QMS. Curious of mind, she loves liaising with other people on an everyday basis grabbing every opportunity to broaden her horizon.
Her life philosophy: Train your mind to see the good in every situation.
Her guilty pleasure: Watching Disney movies and cartoons as an adult.
