Karen Gabriels - PhD, Clinical Research Manager
Karen Gabriels holds a master degree in Biomedical Sciences at the transnational University Limburg (Hasselt University, Belgium & Maastricht University, The Netherlands).
In 2013, she obtained her PhD degree at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht (The Netherlands), after which she continued as a postdoctoral researcher in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology in Eindhoven (The Netherlands).
Eager to achieve a greater impact on people’s lives and packed with broad experience in project organization and management, Karen joined Archer Research in 2016 where she found her true passion for clinical research. She has proven excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as technical skills, pivotal to plan and complete a clinical trial successfully.
Currently she is the Clinical Research Manager at Archer Research overseeing all aspects of the clinical trials and providing comprehensive regulatory support for the medical device industry.

Her guilty pleasure: Spending way too much money on beauty supplies.
